Luca Eats Beef!

For Daddy’s birthday, I made his childhood favorite, goulash and galuska. Grammy’s recipe did not disappoint. We decided to let it be Luca’s first taste of meat. I pureed the meat and sauce with rice and served it up. He ate it all without hesitation!

My First Subway Ride!

Right before Christmas Luca took his first subway ride. We started off in Greenpoint and went to the East Village (he’s so hip!). It was a big step as we are germ freaks and wanted to keep him away from all the things that are lurking below… He did awesome, was very well behaved and curious, and of course was a big attraction to the other passengers. We took a little break...

Back from a little break on posting. We had a few weeks of colds and stomach flu here (our first bout with sick baby…). Happy to report that we are all healthy and ready for all the fun of Luca’s upcoming first Christmas!

Weight: 17 1/2 pounds Length: 27 1.4 inches Luca gained 2lbs 5oz and grew 2inches from his 4 month visit. Now Luca can eat more solid food including carrots, peas, zucchini, sweet potato, peaches, and yogurt. We’ll be feeding him solid food 2x per day and increasing to 3x per day. Sleep training is going well. Last night Luca slept from 8pm to midnight and then until...

Good Luck Charm

Luca is a good luck charm for the Giants every time he wears his jersey. The past two Sunday’s Luca has worn his jersey, the Giants have won! We’ll keep it going in hopes the team keeps it going.
